The Editorial Board of the Virgin Islands Free Press would like to invite you to give your input on which direction the most dynamic, controversial, hard-hitting online newspaper in the territory takes going forward. Our opinion is that readers do not want annoying “blocker” ads that make you cancel them out before you can read the content that you have chosen.

Our opinion is that you don’t want a “cluttered” look for the newspaper with a dizzying amount of ads that distract you from what you came here to do – find out what’s happening in the territory. After all, you just want to read the news, don’t you? Please let us know what you think about this by commenting directly onto this story on the website.

Please tell us what you like about the Virgin Islands Free Press and also what you don’t like about the online news source. Based on your sincere comments, we will do our level best to heed your advice. We are as exciting about the positive prospects of the territory as you are and we want to be able to communicate that fact better through the stories we cover for you.

Your private opinions will not be shared publicly, but if you raise a concern that demands an answer, we will write to you directly at the email address you provide. Also, if you would like to know what you can do to help the Virgin Islands Free Press to grow to reinforce its position as the most relevant and timely news source in the territory, please leave your name and email address and we will call you or email you as you so choose.

The Virgin Islands Free Press is the only news source in the territory that does not accept paid advertising from any arm of the Virgin Islands government or quasi-governmental arms such as WAPA and the hospitals. Also, as your most trusted source for information, WE WILL NEVER ACCEPT ADVERTISING MONIES FROM the University of the Virgin Islands which freely accepts blood money from loan sharking operations like Cane Bay Partners LLC.

Your most accessible source for unvarnished news, the Virgin Islands Free Press has come a long way in four months! We are proud to bring you exclusive stories on a daily basis that you can only find here. We know you like that about us, but we want to do so much more. And we truly appreciate all of our faithful readers who have been so enthusiastic in their praise and encouragement for the work that we have done thus far;  but,  we want to be able to provide much more in terms of coverage, content and presentation. And we can only do that if you agree to help us with your timely news tips, information and donations.

If you are in a financial or technological position to be able to help us improve, please write to us at uberman63@gmail.com OR, if you like, please leave your name and email (phone optional) as a “comment” on this story on the website. (PLEASE NOTE: Your comment will NOT be visible to the general public – it will only be seen by you and us – this survey is being conducted solely to determine internally how the VI Freep can improve itself and its news-gathering abilities.)

Only the Editorial Board members of the Virgin Islands Free Press will be able to see what you write). We will get back to you directly as needed and we thank you again for making this newspaper the most exciting read in the Virgin Islands and hope to see you here many times a day to find out what is happening of importance in the territory!

Also, please feel free to write your comments about our stories and tell us what is most important to you on Facebook in the “St. Croix Sync Tank.” There are currently 84 members of the group, will you be the 85th?
