FREDERIKSTED – In a rare move, the Virgin Islands Police Department has released two additional pictures of a woman they initially described as having mental disabilities who went missing eight days ago.

Nina Gundolo has been missing since Monday November 2, when she was last seen at 1:00 a.m. in the area of Estate Mountain – which is a residential, but sparsely-populated area of Frederiksted.

Gundolo stands at 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds. She has a light complexion, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

“Ms. Gundolo may seem confused and may be in need of medical attention,” the VIPD said in a prepared statement.

Nina Gundolo is known to frequent the Canegata Ballpark, and the towns of Christiansted and Frederiksted, the VIPD said.

If anyone has seen Nina they are asked to immediately contact 911 or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-(TIPS) 8477 or go to www.crimestoppersusvi.org
