Two Men Survive Shooting Near Oswald Harris Court in St. Thomas



CHARLOTTE AMALIE — On Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at roughly 10:11 p.m officers were present at the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Hospital in regards to two gunshot victims.

Upon arrival, police met with a 21 year old male victim who was being treated for a gunshot wound to his right upper arm and left rib area. Contact was also made with an 18 year old male victim who was being treated for a gunshot wound to his right rib area.

Each victim said that they were in the Oswald Harris Court, sitting in the area of Building 3 near the garbage bin, when they heard multiple shots being fired.

Both males further explained that they took off running when they heard the shots being fired. The 18 year old male victim was taken into surgery and the second victim was still being tended to at the time.

The Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Homicide Task force are actively investigating all cases and continue to ask for your assistance in solving crime throughout the territory as the Virgin Islands Police Department continues to make more arrest curbing crime.
