VIPD: Man Frogwalks Woman At Gunpoint Away From Her St. Thomas Residence And Rapes Her

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) says that it is currently investigating a rape that occurred early today.

The woman said that as she was leaving her residence to go to work at 5:25 a.m. today, an unknown black man ran up to her and pointed a gun at her head. She further explained that he forced her to walk away from her residence and sexually assaulted her.

At this time there are no suspects regarding the violent sexual assault incident in St. Thomas.
