CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The territory notched 49 homicides for the year over the weekend.
Unofficial police sources said that 41-year-old Dwight Green and 21-year-old Brison Isaac were killed on St. Thomas on Sunday.
Michael Hendrickson, 27, has reportedly turned himself in in connection with the killings, sources said.
Green and Isaac were shot in Estate Thomas about 6:27 p.m., according to the sources.
Hendrickson reported himself to police about 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.
On St. Croix, police responded to a report of shots fired in Sion Farm about 8:47 p.m. on Thursday and found Adrian Martinez, 32, dead on the scene.
Martinez was found unconscious by police officers on patrol near Island Dairies near the southern entrance to Sion Farm.
