Hapless UVI Men’s Basketball Team Loses Again … This Time To The North Alabama Lions 92-58


FLORENCE — The University of the Virgin Islands’ men’s basketball team remained winless after getting smacked down by North Alabama 92-58 on Tuesday night in Alabama.

Jonathan Harley scored 13 points, Jake Fay added 11 points and Justin Syphoe had 10 points for the Buccaneers (0-10), who trailed by as many as 38 points late in the second half.

Kendarius Smith led all scorers with 17 points and Jeff Hodge was second with 15 points for the winning Lions.

North Alabama got 50 points in the paint and 26 points off of turnovers in the victory.
