FREDERIKSTED — A St. Croix woman says that she is now seeing stars after being stabbed in the face at Rose’s Dream Cuisine on King Street early Sunday.

According to the woman, a mother and daughter team assaulted her by repeatedly stabbing her in the face about 2 a.m. on Sunday.

The injured woman was taken to the Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center where she was treated for life-threatening injuries.

Police did not issue an official press release about the incident so the Virgin Islands Free Press does not know if the matter will be investigated by authorities.
