2018 DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY: Bryan-Roach, Alicia Barnes, Donna Frett-Gregory Big Winners

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — Commentators and political pundits are calling the 2018 Democratic Primary for the gubernatorial team of Albert Bryan and Tregenza Roach with 39.29 percent of the vote (unofficial results).

Some 39.9% of the electorate voted for Bryan-Roach with 26 of 30 precincts counted (86.67%). A total of 3,093 votes were cast for the winning team.

Bryan-Roach were outspent on radio ads at least two-to-one by Petrus-Sanes, but Albert Bryan Jr and Tregenza Roach were more visible in the community and outspent their opponents heavily on the Internet and social media — which proved to be the deciding factor.
