POLICE: Two Men Injured After Shooting At John F. Kennedy Terrace Early Today

CHRISTIANSTED — Two St. Croix men received non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting that happened at John F. Kennedy Terrace early today.

A concerned citizen called the 911 Emergency Call Center about 2:40 a.m. today saying they heard “a discharging of shots” at JFK Terrace in Estate Richmond and that somebody had possibly been shot.

When police arrived on the scene they found “two male victims” who had sustained gunshot wounds to their feet, according to the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD)

According to VIPD spokesman Glen Dratte, the two men were transported to the Juan F. Luis Hospital for treatment.

The Criminal Investigations Bureau is asking anyone with information on this shooting or any other major crime to call the CIB at (340) 778-2211, the anonymous tip service Crimestoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477 or 911.
