CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The public has not been advised if the police are investigating a shooting that took place on St. Thomas Monday night.

A man called the 911 Emergency Call Center to report an argument with his brother about 10:25 p.m. Monday when the son of his brother apparently fired a gunshot at him in Estate Thomas.

Police were not able to interview the male who fired the shot and the person the bullet was intended for says it didn’t hit him.

The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) did not issue an official press release about this incident to the public.

It was not know if the gun used during the incident was licensed or not.
