Woman Shot In Nose When Someone Tries To Rob Man She Was With on St. Thomas

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A man told police that his woman friend was shot in the nose when someone tried to rob him a gunpoint on St. Thomas last night.

On Monday, October 9, 2018 at about 10:14 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report from a male individual stating that a female acquaintance had been shot in the nose.

The caller also advised 911 that someone had tried to rob him, and that the female victim was shot. The female was brought to the Emergency Room by private vehicle.

She suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and damage to her face. She was treated for her injuries and admitted to Roy Lester Schneider Hospital for follow up.

This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
