Marvin Blyden Voted Best Senator In St. Thomas By Newspaper’s Readers

CHARLOTTE AMALIE – Senate Majority Leader Senator Marvin Blyden expressed his gratitude and appreciation today to the people of the Virgin Islands who have selected him as the “Best Senator of the Virgin Islands on St. Thomas/St. John 2018-2019” in the V.I. Daily News “Best of the V.I.” Readership Poll.

“I am a son of the soil; I am a passionate grassroots public servant,” Blyden said. “I serve my community without the expectation of recognition or applause; however, I am truly humbled by this award. I am proud that I was recognized and I do not take this distinction lightly. As we begin the 33rd Legislature, I will continue to work as tirelessly and relentlessly to put forth meaningful solutions to many of the problems plaguing our community.”

This is Senator Blyden’s second time receiving the people’s choice award.
