‘Fourth’ Victim Of St. Croix Shooting Dies In Estate Catherine’s Rest: VIPD

CHRISTIANSTED — The 911 Emergency Call Center received reports at about 7:42 p.m. Thursday of shots being fired in the Estate Catherine’s Rest area of St. Croix. authorities said.

Callers stated to 911 that one man was shot and on the ground. Shortly after calls came in from Juan Luis Hospital that three patients walked into the hospital with gunshot wounds, according to the Virgin Islands Police Department.

“All three victims received wounds to various part(s) of the body,” VIPD spokesman Glen Dratte said.

The fourth victim, 23-year-old Akido Parrilla received a gunshot wound to the head and succumbed to his injuries at 10:44p.m., He was identified by family members.
