Chucky Hansen’s Son Found Shot To Death In Williams Delight

FREDERIKSTED – The 29-year-old son of a well-known St. Croix senator was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds in Williams Delight just after midnight Tuesday, according to the Virgin Islands Police Department.

The 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched police at 12:34 a.m. Wednesday to an area in Estate Cane, behind Kmart located in the Sunshine Mall with a report of gunshots fired, the VIPD said.

A woman told police that Hansen had come to her home for a meal earlier that evening and had left about 10 p.m. As he walked towards his vehicle, she said she heard a discharge of gunfire and saw two men running into the bushes, west of Estate Williams Delight.

Police conducted a search for Hansen and were unable to locate him, but discovered several spent shell-casings in the area.

Later this morning at 6:33 a.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a call from a concerned citizen stating that the body of a man was found in Estate Williams Delight.
Police discovered the body of a deceased man, who appeared to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds, with shell casings found around his body.

The body of the deceased matched the description of the woman’s male companion, and he was later identified as being 29-year-old Erikson Hansen. He is the son of former long-time St. Croix Sen. Alicia “Chucky” Hansen, several sources said.
