Frederiksted Man Wanted For Assault Captured By Police Near Sunny Isle

CHRISTIANSTED – A 36-year-old St. Croix man wanted on domestic violence-related charges was captured without incident by police Saturday night, according to the Virgin Islands Police Department.

Travis Everett, 36, of Frederiksted who is wanted for second-degree assault-domestic violence was captured at 7:23 p.m. Saturday in Estate Mary’s Fancy near the Sunny Isle Shopping Center, the VIPD said.

Police had been searching for Everett since November 5. He is accused of assaulting his wife, causing her visible injury, according to police.

No bail was set for Everett due to the domestic violence statute. He was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending an Advice of Rights hearing.
