Joseph Takes First Step Towards Getting Back In The Game, Practice (VIDEO UPDATE)

Linval Joseph of St. Croix

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. – After not playing for the last two games, it’s not just Linval Joseph himself who wants him to get back in the lineup – it’s also the wish of the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings have not won since Joseph went out with a foot injury after the 20-10 win against the Atlanta Falcons November 29.

But the St. Croix-born nose tackle practiced with the team today – although it was without pads.

Still, team officials said he was able to do individual drills – in an effort to return to the team as quickly as possible.

Minnesota has lost each of its games in weeks 13 and 14 of the NFL season – 38-7 to the Seattle Seahawks and 23-20 to the Arizona Cardinals – with Joseph on the bench.
