Dallas Native Arrested On Domestic Violence Charges On Tuesday

CHARLOTTE AMALIE – A 41-year-old Dallas native was arrested on domestic violence-related charges on Tuesday, according to the Virgin Islands Police Department.

Police arrested Scott Liebowitz of Frenchman’s Bay about 7:26 a.m. on Tuesday, the VIPD said. Liebowitz is charged with third-degree assault-domestic violence.

Police said that Liebowitz was arrested after he was positively identified as the person responsible or assaulting his girlfriend.

No bail was set as per the domestic violence statute. He was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending an Advice of Rights hearing.

Liebowitz’s Facebook profile says that he is originally from Dallas, Texas and is a computer systems administrator on St. Thomas.
