19-Year-Old Woman Arrested For Destroying Boyfriend’s Belongings

CHARLOTTE AMALIE – A 19-year-old St. Thomas woman was arrested Sunday evening after police said she broke into her boyfriend’s residence and destroyed all of his belongings.

Asiana Thurmond of Nordsideve was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Sunday and charged with third-degree burglary-domestic violence, according to police.

Police said that Thurmond gained access to her boyfriend’s bedroom and destroyed all of his belongings including his television, dresser, and a mini refrigerator.

No bail was set for Thurmond as per the domestic violence statute. She was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections, pending an Advice of Rights hearing.
