Two Armed Men Snatch Purse From Woman As She Exits Her Car In Bovoni

CHARLOTTE AMALIE – Two armed men snatched a purse from a woman getting out of her car in her driveway in Estate Bovoni on Friday night, according to police.

The woman told police that she had just parked her car in the driveway and exited her vehicle when she two black men with guns appeared and one of theem yelled: “Give me your bag!”

The woman said she was in the process of handing over her handbag when one of the men grabbed the bag off of her shoulder.

Once the men had the purse, they fled the area by a shortcut that leads to the Bovoni Housing Project.

Police were alerted to the robbery at 8:08 p.m. on Friday.

The case is currently under active investigation by Criminal Investigation Bureau.
