19-Year-Old Dominica Native Slain Near Anna’s Retreat Basketball Court

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — Saturday, April, 09, 2016, at approximately 6:04 pm. Officers were dispatched by the 911 Emergency Call Center in regards to a possible shooting victim, in a vehicle in the vicinity of the Annas Retreat basketball Court.

Upon arrival to the scene, officers observed a black male who was later identified as 19-year-old Joseph DuCreay of Dominica, in a green SUV with multiple gun shots wounds about the body.

This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
