ARRESTED: Marty Glover on St. Thomas

CHARLOTTE AMALIE  — The owner of the Boogie Woogie Bar told police that his St. Thomas business had been burglarized in Estate Nadir.

The 911 Emergency Call Center received the report of the burglary about 11 a.m. on Friday, according to the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD).

On Monday, police received information that a man wanted for questioning in the incident was hiding in the Estate Nadir Hill area.

About 2:00 p.m., police found Glover and interviewed him about the burglary.

Glover was then arrested and charged with third-degree burglary after he was observed on video surveillance breaking into Boogie Woogie, and removing several bottles of liquor from inside the business.

Bail for Glover was set at 25,000.00. Unable to post bail, he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending an Advice of Rights hearing.
