VIPD: Man Stabs Girlfriend With A Broken Bottle After Choking Her And Brandishing A Pistol


FREDERIKSTED — On February 6, 2017 at approximately 6:00 p.m., a woman walked in to the Wilbur Francis Command and stated that on the same day at roughly 12:00 p.m. in Estate Grove Place, her boyfriend choked her, brandished a pistol at her and stabbed her with a broken bottle.

Patrol Units were notified of the suspect’s identity and place of residence at approximately 8:10 p.m. and apprehended the suspect that same evening. Joseph Brow, 31 of Grove Place was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

Bail for Brow was set at $50,000.00, and he was remanded to Bureau of Corrections.
