Royal Caribbean Will Homeport Freedom of the Seas In San Juan From Now On … With Stops In SXM and STT

FREEDOM OF THE SEAS: The Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (RCCL) cruise ship was the largest ever built from 2006 to 2009.

SAN JUAN — Royal Caribbean has announced that Freedom of the Seas will move to San Juan and sail week long cruises to the Southern Caribbean.  Freedom of the Seas will be the largest cruise ship to ever homeport in Puerto Rico.

Bookings are already open for these new sailings and the ship will sail its first cruise from San Juan on May 12, 2018.

There will be a variety of 10 different itineraries with the ship stopping in 5 or 6 ports on each cruise.  Port stops in the Southern Caribbean that Freedom of the Seas will be visit from San Juan are:

Rates for these cruises to the Southern Caribbean on Freedom of the Seas currently start at $548 per person plus taxes/port fees, based on double occupancy.

Freedom of the Seas was the largest passenger ship in the world at 154,407 gross tons when the vessel debuted in 2006.

The ship can hold 4,515 passengers at maximum occupancy and currently sails out of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
