Police Say St. Croix’s Fanny Andrews Clarke Is Accused Of Punching Her Sister In The Eye And Damaging Her Retina

FREDERIKSTED — A St. Croix woman was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly punching her sister in the eye in Estate Two Brothers earlier this year.

Fanny Andrews Clarke, 46, of Frederiksted was arrested on a bench warrant issued by a Superior Court Magistrate, the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) said.

Police said that Clarke is accused of punching her sister on Jan. 7, 2017 and in the process damaging her sister’s eye and retina.

Fanny Andrews Clarke is charged with mayhem-domestic violence, the VIPD said.

Bail for Andrews Clarke was set at $35, 000,00. Unable to post bail, she was remanded to the Golden Grove Detention Center, pending advice of rights hearing.
