Jazz In The Park Returns To The Christiansted Gazebo at The NPS National Historic Site

JAZZ IN THE PARK: Sweet Peppa performs during Jazz in the Park in St. Croix.

[ad name=”HTML-68″] CHRISTIANSTED – St. Croix is sponsoring an evening of music — and the public is invited!

The 37th “Jazz in the Park” concert returns to the Bandstand at the Christiansted National Historic Site on the waterfront from 5:30 to 7:30.

The musical lineup includes the Community Music Band led by Eddie Russell, the renowned, local jazz virtuoso, and his repertoire of traditional old style and contemporary jazz as well as some traditional Island quelbe sounds.

Accompanying Russell will be lead guitarist Lennox Joseph, drummer Ken “Afra” Dailey, bass Mario Thomas, and David Bess, percussionist. Joining the Community Music Band will be guest performer Karla Rivera.

Community Music is grateful for the outpouring of support for this fun event which is the brainchild of Eddie Russell.
