FREDERIKSTED — Police on St. Croix won’t say if they are investigating two incidents where residents fired gunshots indiscriminately.

Each of the incidents occurred on Friday, when a man reported to the Ann Schrader Command police station in Estate La Reine that someone he did not see fired four shots at him in Old Fredensborg (across from St. Croix Central High School) some time before 12:16 p.m.

No one was injured in the incident.

The second incident occurred about 9:16 p.m. at Croixville Apartments in Estate Plessen when a resident said that more than one person fired several shots at a nearby apartment.

Apparently no one was injured in the incident.

Police would not tell the Virgin Islands Free Press if they intend to investigate the shootings or canvas the crime scenes for clues.

Repeated telephone calls and emails to VIPD spokesman Glen Dratte went unanswered this weekend.
