CRUZ BAY — Canada’s largest online travel company says Trunk Bay on St. John is one of the Top 10 beaches in the world.
FlightNetwork, enlisted more than 600 travel journalists, editors, bloggers and agencies to rate the world’s 50 best beaches, and the National Park beach on St. John beat out beaches in Fiji, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia, Iceland, Hawaii, Italy and Greece.
Trunk Bay was voted the 10th best beach in the world by FlightNetwork. Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos was judged to be the best beach in the world by the company.
“This amazing beach in the U.S. Virgin Islands offers spectacular snorkeling, extraordinary views, and so much more beauty that you have to see it to believe it,” said Michelle from the blog “Making Sense of Cents.”
Trunk Bay’s beauty has been so life-changing to so many people that it was donated to the National Park Service more than five decades ago. Today, it remains one of the best-preserved beaches in the world.
