FREDERIKSTED — The bumbling, stumbling lazy Keystone Kops who make up the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) admit that they can’t find two men on this 84-square-mile island.
The first person wanted on criminal charges is Malachai Francis, who is wanted in a domestic violence case for second-degree assault, unofficial police sources said.
Francis is a black man of medium-build who has brown eyes, shoulder-length dreadlocks and a dark complexion. He stands 5-feet, 9-inches tall.
Police gave few details on why Francis is wanted, other than to say that he is wanted. Sources said that he frequents the Harbor View Apartments, Ruby Rouss Housing Community, and the D. Hamilton Jackson Terrace.
Police do not know his age.
The second wanted man is Luis Navarro, 38, also known as “Twin,” who is wanted for first-degree burglary.
Police also did not give details on why Navarro is wanted, but they said that he frequents Estate Richmond, Williams Delight and the Harbor View Apartments.
Navarro is a Hispanic man who weighs 155 pounds, has black, long braids, and green/brown eyes, according to unofficial police sources. He stands 5-feet, 6-inches tall.
Navarro was last seen wearing a black shirt, tan shorts and gray sneakers.
If you come in contact with Navarro, police is advise that you approach him with caution, as he’s known to carry a firearm.
The VIPD and police spokeswoman Glen Dratte did not contribute to the culling of this report.
