Banco Popular To Re-Open St. Thomas Branch On Tuesday That Closed Following Hurricanes Irma and Maria

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — After suffering major damage following Hurricanes Irma and Maria, the Banco Popular Fort Mylner branch underwent repairs and renovations and will re-open its doors to the public this Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

The bank’s operating hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Banco Popular walk-up ATM service will be available, and the drive-thru will remain closed for the moment.

“We are working diligently to be able to return to our daily operations as soon as possible,” said Oran Bowry, Senior vice President and Division Manager of the Virgin Islands Region of Banco Popular. “With the opening of the Fort Mylner branch, all of our St. Thomas branches return to regular operations from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.”
