CHRISTIANSTED — The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said today it will cut water service to customers in Questa Verde condominiums on Monday, July 2nd, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

During this time, service will be interrupted to allow WAPA’s contractor to interconnect a booster station to the main water line servicing the community, according to the Authority.

The Questa Verde Booster Station will provide adequate water pressure to the area, WAPA said. It was not known if customers in Estate Hermon Hill, where Questa Verde condominiums is located, will also be affected by the work.

“While work is being performed, motorists are urged to adhere to all traffic directions to ensure the safety of crews, pedestrians and other drivers,” WAPA said. “All efforts will be made to restore service to the affected customers as quickly as possible.”
