Magnitude 5.6 Earthquake Hits In Caribbean Off Central America, USGS Says

Originally listed at 5.9 magnitude, the quake hit at 3.56 p.m. on Sunday.

It struck at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 km) and was centered 96km 60 miles (96 km) northeast of San Andres y Providencia, Colombia.

There is no significant tsunami threat, the Atlantic Tsunami Warning Center says.
