DPNR Outreach Services For Physically Handicapped and Blind Begin in January

CHARLOTTE AMALIE — The Department of Planning and Natural Resources announces that the Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (Regional) is hosting Outreach Services throughout the territory.

If you are someone who has a disability, someone who lives with or aids the disabled, and or persons who are interested in the services that Regional offers, you are invited to attend, DPNR Commissioner Dawn Henry said.

The benefits of attending include learning about the free services offered at The Regional Library, learning who is eligible for the free services, applying for the free services, and more, according to Henry.

The outreach services would be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2018 at the Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped in Vitraco Park on St. Croix and on Wednesday, January 23, 2018 at the Charles Wesley Turnbull Regional Public Library in St. Thomas.
