LONDON — A new song by the British duo The Luck titled “Ella’s Hope” will be released on Friday.
“Ella’s Hope” is a ballad about a five-year-old girl living in the U.S. Virgin Islands with a rare, severe neurological condition known as Rett Syndrome and her journey for a cure.
Ella Gaspard of St. Thomas is battling with the disease that has symptoms similar to autism, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy and anxiety disorder all at the same time.
“It is really something special when a remarkably talented duo from London reaches out across the globe to a little girl in the U.S. Virgin Islands and passionately commits to raising awareness for a Rett Syndrome cure,” said Shaine Gaspard, Ella’s father. “And then, it is pure magic when they deliver on that promise in such a powerful, beautiful and creative way. The Luck will always be connected to Ella and every little girl just like her in a very extraordinary way.”
“Ella’s Hope” will be available on many music streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Google Play, Amazon Music, Spotify and SoundCloud.
“‘Ella’s Hope” is releasing on Ella’s fifth birthday and we cannot think of a better celebration of her and a future full of recovery and joy,” said Lauren Bannon-Gaspard, Ella’s mother.
