ATF Offers $30,000 In Reward Money For Information About 3 Arson Incidents

Stop and Save Market after the fire in Estate Mount Welcome on St. Croix.

CHRISTIANSTED — St. Croix has been affected by three cases involving arson in the last month and a half. 

Another $10,000.00 REWARD is being offered by Virgin Islands Paving for information leading to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for the destruction, determined as arson, of a CAT 323FL Track Excavator owned by Virgin Islands Paving, Inc.  

The arson occurred during the evening hours of Sunday in the vicinity of Sion Farm.

The CAT 323FL Track Excavator owned by Virgin Islands Paving, Inc. before it was torched.

The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is also requesting any information regarding the April 30th early morning fire at the Stop and Save Food Market as well as the May 8th fire at St. Croix Trading in the Mount Welcome area of Christiansted. 

Each fire has been determined to have been intentionally set. Each business additionally report the theft of cash and other items of value.

A reward in the amount of $10,000.00 has been offered for EACH of these incidents by the ATF for information leading to an arrest in these arson fires.
