CRUZ BAY — Virgin Islands Police Department officers of the Major Crime Unit were notified of a body found hanging in an apartment in Glucksberg area of St. John about 3:25 p.m. on Sunday.
“Upon arrival on the scene, officers observed the body of a white male suspended in the bathroom of the residence,” VIPD spokesman Karl Caesar said.
The body of the unnamed dead man was transported to the Schneider Regional Medical Center morgue on St. Thomas.
“Identity of the white male is being withheld until proper notification of the next of kin is achieved,” Caesar said.
This case is currently under active investigation by the Major Crime Unit.
