Popular Bank Closes Sunshine Mall Branch Today ‘Until Further Notice’

FREDERIKSTED — Popular Bank announced that the Sunshine Mall Branch in St. Croix will be closed to the public as of today “until further notice.”

The ATM and commercial night depository box will remain in service and available for use.

“Our priority is to ensure that our customers continue to have access to all three of our branches on St. Croix,” Oran C. Roebuck, Senior Vice President and Region Manager for Popular, said. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Sunshine Mall Branch soon. We apologize for any inconveniences caused.”

Popular said its branches in the Sunny Isle Shopping Center and Orange Grove will be open to address all banking needs.

Popular Bank used to be known as Banco Popular de Puerto Rico with branches in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

For additional services, Popular customers can access the Mi Banco Mobile app and TeleBanco services, at 1 (888) 724 – 3659; which are each available 24-hours a day, according to the bank.
