CHARLOTTE AMALIE — Four of 11 cars stolen from Avis Car Rental on St. Thomas Friday night have been recovered by police, but authorities say they need your help tonight to find the other seven still missing.

Avis Car Rental at Cyril E. King Airport reported that 11 rental vehicles were missing from its Charlotte Amalie West parking lot about 7:15 p.m. on Friday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“The report stated that the access gate was secured by an employee the night before,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said. “The following morning, several vehicles were discovered missing from the business parking lot.”

The VIPD said has located four vehicles stolen from the rental agency and continues its investigation of the additional missing vehicles, but could use your help to find the cars that are still missing.
