Kennedy Man Arrested In November Murder of Jeremie Ed St. Rose: VIPD

CHRISTIANSTED — Police arrested an Estate Richmond man this morning and charged him with the murder of a St. Croix man last month.

Augustus A. “Gus” Martin, 19, of John F. Kennedy Terrace was arrested about 10:45 a.m. today and charged with first-degree murder, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Martin was arrested on a Superior Court bench warrant in connection to the homicide of Jeremie Ed St. Rose on November 10, according to the VIPD.

Bail for Martin was set at $1,000,000. Unable to post bail, he was remanded to the custody of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Corrections (BOC) pending an advice-of-rights hearing.

Martin said on social media that he resides in Miami Gardens, Florida. He said he attended St. Croix Central High School in Kingshill.
