Masked, Armed Intruder Steals Cash From Mary’s Fancy Homeowner At Gunpoint: VIPD

CHRISTIANSTED — Police say a masked, armed suspect in a Queen’s Quarter-area home invasion entered through the homeowner’s bedroom window and robbed the woman of cash with the help of an accomplice.

The 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to Estate Mary’s Fancy in reference to a residential burglary at 2:52 p.m. Monday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

“Officers spoke to the victim, who reported that she observed an unknown Black male wearing a mask entering through her bedroom window,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said. “The suspect pointed a gun at her, before letting another individual into the house. The two suspects searched the residence seeking cash before departing the residence.”

The victim stated that each suspect was 5-feet tall, Derima said.

The suspect who entered the home through the bedroom window was wearing a black mask, he told the Virgin Islands Free Press.
