CHRISTIANSTED — Police have identified a man whose body was found near Cramer’s Park beach in late April.
“DNA testing revealed the remains to be that of 19-year-old Emanuel Moise,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said. “The cause of death was determined to be from multiple gunshot wounds sustained by the victim.”
The Virgin Islands Police Department said “the investigation continues into this matter.”
Moise’s partially-decomposed body was found by the VIPD in the bushes east of Cramer’s Park on April 28.
