“Harris, who was employed as a cashier at The Home Depot, is accused of allowing a customer to exit the store with unpaid items on December 26, 2019,” VIPD spokesman Toby Derima said Tuesday.
Bail for Harris was set at $75,000. Unable to post bail, she was remanded to the custody of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Corrections (BOC) pending an advice-of-rights hearing.
Detectives from the Economic Crimes Unit made the arrested of Harris.
