CHARLOTTE AMALIE — It’s time to vote! And it’s all for a good cause during Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Every year during October, the Caribbean Palm Bonnets, a Chapter of The Red Hat Society of the Virgin Islands, present their annual “Bling Bling Bras for Breast Cancer” campaign.

Monies raised will be used to benefit an uninsured island breast cancer patient who would otherwise not be able to afford medical treatments.

10 decorated bras to raise money for a breast cancer patient: #1 Jungle Fever; #2 Shooting Stars; #3 Sergeant Pepper; #4 Gold Chest; #5 Fight Like A Girl; #6 Button Up Cancer; #7 Marti Grau; #8 Ester Williams; #9 Party Girl, and #10 Spring Time (Photo courtesy: PrisCo Consulting)

Everyone is encouraged to cast your “Vote” for your favorite decorated bra by placing a donation in the corresponding numbered slot in the donation box at host location Red Hook Mail Services in Red Hook Plaza on the island’s East end.

To participate and ‘Vote’ virtually, visit the Facebook Page “Caribbean Bolinnets – a Chapter of the Red Hat Society,” then send your “Vote” for your favorite decorated bra (a donation) via PayPal at paypal.me/priscillalynn1510.

And there’s more…decorated bras, that is. Any Interested location may apply to be a host, too. It’s a good traffic-building opportunity, certainly makes for a colorful wall display – and all for a good cause.
