Man Accused Of Murder 5 Years Ago Wanted For Assault In St. John: VIPD

CRUZ BAY — A St. Thomas native accused of a shooting death five years ago is wanted in connection to an assault that occurred outside a local restaurant on Friday, authorities said.

Rupert Gervin “Youth” Walters, 46, of Estate Pastory, is wanted for an assault that happened on the roadway near High Tide Restaurant in St. John on Friday, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

Walters was described as being a Black male who stands 5-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds, according to the VIPD.

Walters was accused of murder after Kenson Jolly was shot to death on May 29, 2016, according to police records.
