CHARLOTTE AMALIE — A professional tour guide who goes by the trade name “Coral Reefer” on social media said her life has become a living hell since her mobile phone and computer motherboard were stolen on St. Thomas recently.
Below is Coral Reefer’s account of what has transpired since the thefts:
“I’ve been having a stream of break ins and robberies since December of last year. This week we finally got cameras monitored through ADT. I have been to the police department and created police reports. I had to stay away from my home in an Airbnb for three weeks until the cameras were installed. My hard drive was stolen out of my laptop in one of the incidents. My main email account and all my other accounts have been hacked. 10 days ago Jahcobi lost his phone in Fenchtown at his place of employment Top Sails/Cruiseship Excursions boat yard. He purchased a new iPhone a few days later. I say this because a few of our mutual gmail personal and business accounts that was on his phone have been hacked as well. When I asked Jahcobi to ask his boss to check the cameras to see who stole the phone, his reply is they do not work. My files, important documents and pictures, basically my life that was attached to those accounts have all been removed or I can not gain access. I recently had to get a new telephone number because both my numbers 340-998-0204 and 340-474-7151 have been hacked.”
“I also have had personal items, tools, technology, appliances, and gifted treasures stolen. I have done my due diligence in trying to secure my accounts through the apps and software. I have contacted the cs websites to help me. This may be an attack from my emergency contact or a person who is in my circle. My spirit tells me, this is not a stranger. Why would Joe Blow care to delete 50,000 pictures but not steal money from my bank accounts? I will be closing down all my social media, website accounts associated with these 32 accounts for now. Thanks to everyone who have supported me, called to check on me and baby, and help me through this ordeal. If you need to contact me, please call. (340) 227-6909. I will no longer be available through media until further notice after tomorrow. I know that was al to to read, As I sit here traumatized and worried, I am praying to the most high that he protects me from this evil, keeps us safe from anymore harm, and reveals my attacker. I do not deserve this. I am also praying that the VIPD follows trough with this case. Please contact Sargent Peterson @vipd if you know, ya know…..”
