Help Police Find 2 Men Wanted For Murders of Lottery Office Worker and Her Acquaintance

FREDERIKSTED — The VIPD Criminal Investigation Bureau’s Major Crime Unit issued wanted posters for two men accused of murder.

Arrest warrants have been issued in the names of Joshawn Ayala, 20, of Florida and Anthony D. Schneider, 31, of St. Croix, for the murder of Stacy Schjang on January 21, 2022, and the murder of Arnold Jarvis on February 4, 2022, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

WANTED FOR MURDER BY THE VIPD: Anthony D. Schneider, 31, of St. Croix

Schneider is a Black male with brown eyes, black hair and a slim build. He stands 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds.

The Crucian native has a distinguishing characteristic in that he has a “deformed left arm,” according to the VIPD.

Anthony Schneider is known to frequent D. Hamilton Jackson Terrace, Watergut Homes, Estate Richmond, Christiansted town and Bonne Esperance when he is on St. Croix.

But authorities say Schneider has ties to Tampa, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia as well.

Ayala is an Hispanic male with brown eyes, black hair and a slim build. He stands 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs about 113 pounds.

The Florida native is known to frequent D. Hamilton Jackson Terrace, Watergut Homes, Estate Richmond, Christiansted town and Bonne Esperance when he is on St. Croix. He also has ties to Tampa, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia.
