FREDERIKSTED — Police need your help to find a St. Thomas man wanted on St. Croix.

Bernard James, 45, of Estate Anna’s Hope, is wanted for an unknown offense, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

James is a Black male with brown eyes, black hair and a brown complexion. He stands 6-feet, 1-inches tall and weighs about 195 pounds.

If you see James, or know his whereabouts, you are asked to please call 911 at your earliest convenience.

Police issued a wanted poster for James about 6:00 p.m. today, but did not state why he is wanted.

“Anyone coming in contact with subject or with knowledge of his location contact 911 or the Wilbur Francis Command station at 340-772-2800,” the VIPD said on Facebook.

On September 3, 2002, James allegedly shot his brother Khali James in the right arm in a domestic dispute near a daycare center, according to police records.

The wanted suspect is a native of St. Thomas, according to the VIPD wanted poster.
