KINGSHILL — Virgin Islands Police are investigating a homicide on St. Croix, after police said 21-year-old Joshua Lee was found dead from gunshot wounds to the body.
The case began at about 9:31 a.m. today, when officers responded to a report of shots fired and a man down in the area of Profit Hills Apartments in Estate Profit, according to the VIPD.
“Officers responded and discovered a male with multiple gunshot wounds to the body,” VIPD Communications Director Glen Dratte said. “The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene by the medical examiner.”
The dead man was positively identified by next of kin as being Lee.
