CHARLOTTE AMALIE — St Thomas Rescue, the Virgin Islands Fire Emergency Medical Service, St John Rescue and the Institute for Social Change are hosting a Toy Drive from now until December 30.
Community members are asked, where possible, to donate a new, unwrapped gift to a child
who is noted as coming from a family in need.
Those who are able to assist are asked to drop off a gift at any fire station on St Thomas, or
St John. In doing so, please leave an indicator as to the age range, and sex that the gift is
most appropriate for. Collection bins are wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper. Gifts will be
accepted until December 30, 2022.
Gifts will be handed out during of a convoy of decorated emergency vehicles that will travel
to each home. The convoy will take place on Friday January 6th, 2023. The time of which is
TBC.
