Nissan issues ‘Do Not Drive’ warning for 83,000 vehicles after air-bag recall

TOKYO — Nissan issued a “Do Not Drive” warning for more than 83,000 vehicles with the model year 2002-2006 equipped with recalled Takata air bags.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, all vehicle owners need to check their vehicle for the recall. Any owner with the recalled air bags should contact their local dealership to schedule a free repair.
