SAN JUAN — Today will be breezy and pleasant with sunshine and a few clouds, AccuWeather says.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 75 degrees Fahrenheit, according to AccuWeather.
Last night was quite calm, with only a few Trade Winds showers.
“A slight increase in shower activity is expected (today), particularly across northwestern areas de Puerto Rico during the afternoon hours,” the National Weather Service said.
But we are to expect an increase in rainfall activity, according to the NWS.
In the morning, people in eastern Puerto Rico could see a ponding of water and localized flooding, the NWS said.
In the afternoon, people in northwestern Puerto Rico could experience the same conditions as there is “a low chance of localized urban and small stream flooding,” according to the NWS.
For that reason, people in those areas over those time periods should watch out for “slippery roads and reduced visibility,” the NWS says.
There is a moderate risk of “life-threatening” rip currents today, according to the NWS.
Last night’s low temperatures are above, as reported by several stations.
